To celebrate World Toilet Day and bring light to global sanitation challenges, the Global Poverty Project will be joining the CWWA to launch an upcoming Canadian campaign towards making universal sanitation a reality by 2030. Thanks to the amazing progress in wastewater management in Canada, we are able to live in a country where we may sometimes take for granted access to a toilet and clean water. But 2.5 billion people around the world currently live without access to improved sanitation facilities.
Please take a minute or two to learn more about the global issues and the activities being coordinated for World Toilet Day. Or, help raise awareness and show your love for toilets by sending an e-card like this one from Water for People.
